It was gorgeous! Art over each bed, the best darn bathroom I've ever seen, including a massive glass-like barn door on a track, a shower with three jets, and a separate water closet. After getting our bags in, we stood back and marveled at our room.
The bell boy (it seems wrong to say that!) was waiting for us at our room. After a few minutes of messing around, and talking to other guests who had experienced the same thing, we ditched that car, and went to another one, which worked. The one glitch was the elevator - when I inserted the room key, our floor would not light up. Our stay began with the valet parking, where the attendant was, well, attentive, the bell staff was responsive, check in was smooth, and then we headed to the room. This place is visually amazing! The outside scale is massive, and the interior is tall, tall ceilings, art everywhere including those ceilings, and something to look at everywhere you turn. Recently a colleague and I were asked to present at a one-day technology conference at the property, and we decided to stay at the resort. I've driven past the Tulalip Resort Casino a few times on my way to the Seattle Premium Outlet Mall, but never thought I would have the opportunity to stay there.
