They should be invited to play Stagecoach again in the future if they are still performing. The set got better as it went along and Dunn, in particular, sounded beautiful singing 'My Maria,' hitting the high notes and piercing through the blowing sand.īrooks & Dunn are a country legacy act, there's no doubt. They also played in what was becoming a brisk wind and Dunn mentioned that it was having an effect out there, but they powered through. There weren't a lot of theatrics or magical video screen moments. Sunday's performance was solid, if not spectacular. They've performed together ever since and released the album 'Reboot' in 2019. They both performed as solo artists for five years before reuniting in 2015. The 2010 performance was part of their 'Last Rodeo' Tour as they announced that they would stop performing together in 2009 after they finished one more tour.
The iconic duo played the very first Stagecoach in 2007 and came back in 2010. This was not Brooks & Dunn's first Stagecoach performance but it's been a while.
